Report: Wes Lee 'Banged Up' After WWE Main Event Tapings

Wes Lee competed at the WWE Main Event tapings on December 16, and he may have gotten hurt.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Lee, who was among one of several NXT talent at the tapings, may have been banged up while working the show on Monday. Per Johnson, the word was that it may be a foot or ankle injury. Lee was set to get checked out as soon as possible.

The report notes that there is currently no word on whether Wes Lee is at the NXT tapings in Lowell, Massachusetts on Tuesday.

Lee is a former NXT North American Champion and NXT Tag Team Champion. He competed in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline. He then lost to Je’Von Evans on the following episode of NXT.
