The fallout for the Giants has commenced following their straight-set September exit, as Tom Morris provides an update on four out-of-contract AFL listed players.

Kicking off with defender Nick Haynes, Morris believes his 12-year tenure at the Giants will come to a close.

Haynes averaged a solid 17 disposals in 2024, however only managed eight senior games across the season.

"Nick Haynes, we all think he's going to Carlton as an unrestricted free agent," Morris told SEN Breakfast.

"He is an inaugural Giant, so he has been there for a long time.

"There is nothing the Giants can do to keep him, but I think if he does go, the Giants will say thanks very much for your service, good luck and all the best.

"I think this will be a very simple one."

25-year-old Harry Perryman is also likely to jump ship, with multi-year deals from multiple clubs on the table for the general defender.

Averaging 18 disposals across the season, Perryman has attracted plenty of attention, with a heavy link to Preliminary Finalists Port Adelaide.

"Harry Perryman, the gut feel is still Port, but it's hard to nail this one at the moment, we will know more in the next few days.

"Long-term deals from Hawthorn and GWS on similar money, Port on more money, it just depends on what he wants to do.

"I think it's unlikely that he stays now given we are at the end of the season."

Isaac Cumming has incentive to shift his talents to South Australia, after an injury-ridden season limited the midfielder to just six AFL appearances in 2024.

The 26-year-old managed 16 disposals and eight tackles in GWS' loss to Brisbane in last weekend's Semi-Final.

"Isaac Cumming, (the Giants) have offered him a four-year deal.

"He will stay, or go to South Australia, where his fiancé's family is, and his brother is as well."

Finally, utility James Peatling is determined to remain a Giant, previously expressing his desire to remain at the club following a very strong finals campaign.

Peatling has played a significant role for the Giants, limiting the damage of both Errol Gulden and Dayne Zorko across their September matchups.

"We expect Peatling to stay as well, most likely on a three-year deal that will hopefully be wrapped up from the Giants perspective this week."
