Coleman Medallist Scott Cummings has ranked his top 10 players in the AFL ahead of Round 17 of the 2024 season.

Cummings releases his power rankings weekly on SEN WA Breakfast and didn't bring in any new names to his 10 this week.

While there weren't any ins or outs, only two players stayed in the same slot as last week with some big changes at the pointy end of the list.

Check out his top 10 below.

10. Max Gawn (Melbourne)
Previous ranking: 9

"Max Gawn has gone from nine to 10. I just don't know what Melbourne are going to do, so will he remain in the most important 10 players in the competition?"

9. Caleb Serong (Fremantle)
Previous ranking: 10

8. Charlie Curnow (Carlton)
Previous ranking: 7

7. Zach Merrett (Essendon)
Previous ranking: 6

6. Patrick Cripps (Carlton)
Previous ranking: 8

"Cripps moves up to number six, he has been sensational.

"His body of work in the last six weeks absolutely warrants his spot there."

5. Errol Gulden (Sydney)
Previous ranking: 5

4. Chad Warner (Sydney)
Previous ranking: 4

3. Isaac Heeney (Sydney)
Previous ranking: 1

"Isaac Heeney goes to three. He was number one last week.

"Do you think Isaac Heeney is a better player than Bontempelli or Daicos?"

2. Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs)
Previous ranking: 3

1. Nick Daicos (Collingwood)
Previous ranking: 2

"Nick Daicos is the best player in the competition."
